... anything else. Soooo they had two staircases to keep temptation away from the dastardly devils that had top hats on. The horrors of it all. I wondered what would happen if these guys would be reincarnated again and land on Malibu beach in August....Gazooks, they'd they'd run around with that 4 hour Viagra symptom thing that they advertise on TV. ... with food (hot and cold)- offering choices of Alaskan snow crabs legs ,fresh shrimps, Oyster Rockerfella, Scallops, Prime rib, salads barbecue ribs, and loads of big chunks of salmon and Mahimahi (oh gee, we should have been walking back to Norfolk). THEN dessert to follow with as many choices.

Our last day in Norfolk- and SOOO much to see..... a water day we decided, and headed for the waterfront on foot. Nauticus ...

... the storm and only got a few drops of rain for our efforts. We felt lucky indeed. Who needs a thunderstorm when you already have a leak?

... drove through Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, and finally Savannah, Ga. We stopped to eat at a hamburger place called Krystal that are all over the place. Thought we would check it out. It turned out to be sliders, just like White Castle! It was great. Will be hitting them up again. We left Gadsden, AL Monday morning and arrived in Savannah, GA at 4:30 p.m. We'd booked a room at the Eliza Thompson House, a bed & breakfast on Jones Street, a quaint tree lined street once voted most beautiful by Southern Living magazine.
