... happy to start working again, now I was sure I had been going downhill because the walk back was certainly uphill. The lift was closed. I was frightened, not the impossimountain again, the wind was visibly whipping the snow up into the air at 45 degrees. I had that feeling of being able to feel my skull because it was so cold.

The next lift was open – phew! It was the only lift on the whole entire mountain that was open. Not being religious I tend ...

If however you find yourself falling over, albeit on the comfortable quilt of snow, it’s going to take a lot of energy to get back up, over and over again. Snowboarding day 2

... Hofgastein, oops.

Back up, back down, right instead of left, met the class for lunch. We had two new classmates, both every bit as awesome as the original cohorts. Today’s lesson was drilling on carving. I found it tough having missed the morning but great fun again. The Knight: putting the sword into the stone on the heels and holding out a lance on the toes. Touching the board (I can’t touch my ...
