We were pretty pleased to be leaving Provincetown for a bigger city with hopefully some life. On the way down the coast we passed some mental halloween displays outside houses and took a detour to the Cape Cod crisp factory! Loads of free samples so I was happy. The only thing I knew about Rhodes Island is that they had the super nice chick who won Miss America in the Miss Congeniality movie. Now I know they also have Brown University and a great Laundromat! ... starts and where it will lead. This whole concept has frightened me to an extent. I never realized how important the stability of school was to me until now.

Labor day weekend, however, I finally found peace with my upcoming trip with some encouragement from my friends. One of my best friends and former dance partner, Dan, had a belated graduation party near Holy Cross allowing us all to reunite before grad school, jobs and abroad programs kicked ...

... making it due to the Boston Tea Party. I don't think it would take much of a storm to capsize those ships. And the streets on Beacon Hill – they are made of brick but I'm sure there aren’t 2 bricks that line up. It’s beautiful to look at, the original walks with holes and gullies, knowing this is as it was many many years ago and thinking of the many that walked on it before me. But then I think ...
