... being here nicely).
Yes, ok, so my facebook feed might be filled with Storms, Cats and Cake... but those are the 3 things I'm most passionate about. (Not in that order mind, I think Cats just have it over Storms).

Today is a down day in Denver (yay) so will find out at 10am what the plan is. I'm glad to spend a little more time here as I feel like I have a natural affinity with this place.

... Gold Rush town. There are many different casinos up and down the multi-tiered "strip" that winds all around the town. Brew pubs, gift shops and, yes, dispensaries are also everywhere you can see. We asked the guy at the KOA to recommend a good place to grab a bite and he said "The Lodge" casino would be our best bet. Look at the pic I just posted and you'll see why "Tonight- we eat like kings!"

  • We had to go down to the basement of a cousin's house in Hays because of a tornado warning. I'd never in my short life seen a house with a basement.
