The day started with a little lie in as we knew we wouldn't be getting too much sleep in the evening! We lazed around and watched a bit of tv with Steph while each of us had a shower. Steph then took us to Boulder to have a look around and have some brunch at a place called Snooze which had a long wait - sign of a good place! ... Gold Rush town. There are many different casinos up and down the multi-tiered "strip" that winds all around the town. Brew pubs, gift shops and, yes, dispensaries are also everywhere you can see. We asked the guy at the KOA to recommend a good place to grab a bite and he said "The Lodge" casino would be our best bet. Look at the pic I just posted and you'll see why "Tonight- we eat like kings!"

... again at all. Charlotte clearly wasn’t too unhappy about this and in truth neither am I but it would have been nice to have the opportunity to camp again as it allows more flexibility when we are driving in areas where we may not have something booked.
