... and she was able to truly enjoy all the rides she attempted, and Tad and I felt a bit more relaxed knowing she was pretty water safe. We once again took the Falls to the Alligator river and finished out our morning there. The kids did a Boogie Bahn run to finish off the day, and then it was back to the rooms to shower and pack. ... One chick just lay flat out, exhausted beside it's shell for ages - it looked like I felt after childbirth! I guess exhaustion is relative.
Another display had the chicks that were a few days old and they were standing and running around under the lights and were the usual yellow balls of fluff - gorgeous.
In the lobby area of the stadium behind glass, were the winning quilts. Now quilting is not usually my cup of tea but one of them ...

... could only guess that most of the Riders had already headed for home - some of them having as much as 2000 miles to ride to get home.

Oh well! We rode back to the Hotel so that Dave could tappity tap on the keyboard whilst LJ would be busy doing sommat in the background which would be equally important. We got back at about 17:30, soaking wet as we caught 45 seconds of monsoon downpour. Dave and LJ got wet right through to the cottons. I quickly hid ...
