... let Abraham take him on a 3 day journey, climb a mountain, tie him up and prepare to sacrifice him. Abraham wouldn't have got past the question 'but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?' Isaac was an willing sacrifice, in tune with his father, having the same faith as his father - which is what we're called to have.
