On day two, we feel settled into our apt. and ready for a big day of exploring after breakfast. It's a rainy day, but that won't stop us!
I head out to ride the vaporetto so and Mary Beth and Scott take the kids to try and see more of the sights. Jackie is still a bit under the weather, so she is going to walk around a bit and then go home for a nap.

... there already, so we joined there table and had a massive stein of German beer (1L haha) and a massive burger each! To top it off shared a yummy chocolate soufflé. Certainly ready for bed now haha.
Tomorrow we are off to Pag Island in Croatia for some chilling and maybe a dance party (haha that could be interesting). But we do stop in Slovenia for lunch and a visit to the Postojna Caves. Should be cool, but it will be a big day!

... were taken through their display rooms with the hundreds of chandaliers and other glass ornaments. There were whole musical instruments made from glass (e.g. saxophones, guitars, clarinet etc). Every item was worth a fortune, however very clever. After walking for a few hours the kids were tired, so we headed back to the apartment. After lunch and a rest, we went to a park, Isabelle and Zac enjoyed playing in the playground, and we enjoyed resting in the shade of some beautiful old trees.
