Another yummy buffet breakfast with Prosecco :) After a leisurely time in our room, we met Shirley, Michele and Lynn at 9:30 and took a boat to the Academia stop and walked to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art. ... place quite easily on foot.

The kids enjoyed their first taste of Italian foods; thin crust pizza and fresh pasta with savouy toppings were a hit! I was more inclined to try the pesce (fish) which Venice is known for, and I wasn't disappointed. And of course, the gelato! It was hard to resist this delectable treat, especially when gelateria were at every turn in the road!
