... switched to my sport sandals with bare feet. The water was freezing cold. Maneuvering a big umbrella in the narrow alleyways with thousands of other people with big umbrellas proved challenging. But we finally found it. We got our pizza and on our way back we picked up wine and some snacks and also gelato. All the requirements for an Italian eat-in meal.

... a charm bracelet for all of my travels! That evening, all the men in our group threw a Valentine’s extravaganza, where we all sat on the rooftop of our hotel, toasting with various wines, and enjoying the warm Florence evening in lovely company. It was ridiculous. They jammed so many people on that boat that we were nose to nose (or worse, nose to armpit!). And, if that wasn’t bad enough, the No. 2 is an "express" route, which means ...

... foyer and we got the giggles. There was a guy sitting in the chair behind the wall and Chris thought it was " Gavin from our tour " but it wasn't. She is crawling on the floor....a very very funny moment. The streets are crowded today. We find an off the street cafe where the lunch menu is "9.50 euro all you can eat". We decide we will come back for lunch. The owner laughs and says " ah yes they always say I come back but they ...
