    Woke up to frost on the windshield and a sluggish water pump but a beautiful cold, crisp morning. Got going by 9:30 or so and stopped at Moose to gas up. Chatted at the pump with two young men from Israel. They’re travelling until at least December. Suggested they come to Canada and apparently that's the plan.

    ... a home for a friend. He was headed home. We told him to take his time as he was not going to like the temperatures when he got home. It is still so pleasant, weather wise, wherever we have been so far.

    Will end this segment for now as the next one will include the Devil's Tower, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands National Park. Stay tuned folks; you'll hear from me sooner than you think.

    ... in Cody this week as hundreds of others passed through on their way to Sturgis, but there has been a big change to the cycling crowd at least among those who ride the highways. Yes- still lots of leather, tattoos, hair and noise, but a much more genteel collection of riders. Most still ride Harleys and they tend to stay together, but you see more BMWs and Hondas and more trikes, frequently pulling small trailers which fold out in amazing ways ...
