    Woke up to frost on the windshield and a sluggish water pump but a beautiful cold, crisp morning. Got going by 9:30 or so and stopped at Moose to gas up. Chatted at the pump with two young men from Israel. They’re travelling until at least December. Suggested they come to Canada and apparently that's the plan.

    Well the day started with a bang.. Literally. At 2 am I woke up to a Big Bang.. I knew immediately Tommy fell off the bed over the cab. I screamed. Josh woke up to bang and my scream and thought it was a bear .. Lol his scream/wail of "what" "what, is it a bear" is something I will never stop laughing about. Anyway luckily Tom landed on his feet and fell forward and was fine. That was his first night on the outside... And his last. Got going early again, but when ...

    Arrived at camp about 9:30 last night. A little later than we wanted, but we were treated to a beautiful sunset over Yellowstone Lake. Saw some hot springs along the way too. Everyone was pretty exhausted from the long, wonderful day. Roosevelt, Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful on today's agenda.
