We decided to reorganize our luggage and pack only enough for the night away and leave the remainder in the room so there would be more room for Chris & Milly’s bags in the car. Things couldn’t have worked out better! It looked like our stay in L’Escala would be a real relaxing break.
... woo! im (nic) finding the being rather stinky and dirty side of things a bit tough, it was only yesterday that we did our first proper wash of our clothes eeewwe! tan lines coming a long nicely.
been eating loads of pain au chocolat and french bread avec cheese so are certainly not wasting away!

Which is nothing new for me since in Thailand I even got massages in peoples houses (Chaing Mai) and we confirmed my observation later that night when the owner cooked supper for her little girl in the "communal" kitchen and CAt asked about the internet not functionning - at which point we were told that the Man of the house would be home later...

Arrived Banyuls around 3.30 yesterday afternoon. Spending the next couple of days in Collioure soaking up the sun and relaxing until my flight home on Wednesday. Will plan to update the blog in detail when I arrive home.
