      ... coming and going... I asked for water... an at first a bit grouchy worker.. blurted out 'What do you want'? I explained to him my plight of thirst...

      anyway he wound up being friendly after all and took me in one of the company trucks to a well.. and I pumped out some potable water...

      ... easy. The closer we got to the city the more expensive it was. We ended up about 10 miles away from the city at a Days Inn. Hinesh works his British charm and gets us 10% off the price. Thank you Hinesh.

      ... lunch in a 200yr old brewery and ending up at the St Louis courthouse. It was here that the court case deciding the future of a slave named Dred Scott was held. Dred Scott sued the American government for his freedom from slavery for more than 10 years. The eventual decision against him and the election of Abraham Lincoln as the 16th President in 1860 were the catalyst for the American Civil War.
