... was snowing in Munich. Yes, it was another "kid in a lolly shop" moment. I found myself smiling from ear to ear. All of this wonder a part of our travels, with no entry fee required. Bridget keeps me updated with the weather forecast. It's currently minus seven degrees. We will land with it being one degree in Venice and are a little excited as we understand it may snow on New Year's eve. We are hoping Venice gives us a warm welcome. ...

While doing that we were able to hop off and explore places such as Montjuic where the 1992 Olympics were held as well as the Spanish village constructed for the 1927 Exhibition. We also took the skyway to the top of Montjuic where an old castle gave you fantastic views over Barcelona. We have walked along ...

... were off with their pitchforks loaded with fireworks, down narrow Carrer del Dr. Ibanez and onto Carrer d'Europa. It was difficult not to get hit by a few sparks on Carrer del Dr. Ibanez but we were reasonably well prepared so weren't too bothered. There was a lot of silly stuff, with demons sitting in the street pretending to be in boats mock devil battle and because we were off the main tourist route there were not lots of spectators to trip ...
