We arrived at Placa de Catalunya in search of a hop on, hop off tourist bus. We found the shortest line for the Barcelona City Tour, the red bus. They have two routes and one ticket covers both. Tickets were 27 euro each, so took the green route first, sat on the top level in the sunshine and enjoyed the ride.

... been disguised with various shapes that looked like soldiers or other odd shapes. The roof was all undulating. Much thought had been put into everything with door handles moulded to the shape of the hand etc.
on the way back for siesta we dropped by he Barcellona Cathedral. Interesting but not outstanding. We did find a nice cafe for afternoon tea while waiting for the cathedral to open.
