... and the seat was a life-saver.
At some stage, I had been attacker by a little nibbler and my feet were covered in red bites and very itchy, so the shopping list in my mind had stretched to cheese, ham and Anthisan.

True to form, we stayed on the bus one stop more than we had intended, which launched us into the centre of Barcelonetta, the area by the sea. To me this sounded more like a variety if ice-cream than a destination.
It was heaving.

Hola Chicos!

I just arrived at my accommodations here in the metropolitan Barcelona. My travel from Valencia's Joaquin-Sorolla train station to the Barcelona-Sants was very easy and comfortable. Argo in full espaol dubbed and captioned was good for me to get in fully into espaol gears. Look! I made it again! My bad espaol is good enough!!

... turned Barcelona literally around. Prior to this the locals thought that the closer to the water you lived the lower the class of people and accommodation , but after the Olympics this all changed with the same area now the place to live.

After leaving the green we took on the much larger red line which gave us a tremendous feel for the city both the old and the new. Like yesterday Gaudi and his buildings took pride of place but we had a windfall ...
