... headlamp right now because I couldn't see a thing. Probably the only time I would be caught wearing that. Haha. In order to get out of the cave it was a real steep slope with a chain to grab onto. I'm really glad I didn't pass this up because it was a once in a lifetime thing that I will definitely remember. After the long hike I was then rewarded with my favorite thing, shopping. I managed to muster up plenty of energy to make it through and hit all the shops in under ...

Today, we woke up to another cloudy, rainy day. But a little rain won't stop this group. After breakfast in our hotel, we hopped on our shuttle bus to the tram. Our destination is the top of a ski mountain, Kasprowy Wierch at 1959 m (6427 ft.). The visibility wasn't very good at the top, but 11 of us decided to hike down. Our room was cute and we're happy to have a hot water pot and a little refrigerator in the room. We always have ...

In the morning we left Krakow and headed to Zakopane, a small town in the Tatra mountains. We went into the town, planning to head up the mountain and take some photos of the view but when we arrived it was raining and very cloudy. Instead we stopped for potato pancakes and garlic sauce. Some people, including ...

... The view was fantastic. There were people of all ages walking in these mountains. One lady pointed out the 3 Mary's of Poland in the peaks to our north. A Russian couple seemed to be having a domestic in very loud voices. Some Frenchmen all decked out I their gear looked like they were climbing Everest. We had a lot of fun, took a lot of photos and drank a lot of water. It was warm but comfortable. Then it was time to descend - change to the blue markers. Some Swedish kids ...
