We know that we just back tracked but hey, we are retired, so who cares, right??
We are here to see Lynda and Danny Chauncey (Kenda's sister-in-law and nephew). Luckily they are big time dog lovers and will be able to handle our obnoxious puppy's exuberance.

The RV park is nothing to write home about, but it is right on the beach and it is one of the few places that the dogs can walk the beach with us, so...it just got better!

... Beach….

So we parked along the Moonstone beach, and enjoyed the great beach front: not only was it very windy, so that we needed a jacket… but beside cliffs, crashing waves we saw some seals and sea lions. So the wind is also our companion when Paul starts to feed the gulls and during we made supper.

I was wondering why they call it the Moonstone… ...

We woke to the sound of sea lions and gulls.
After chatting to a french couple travelling on a harley we headed for a walk to see the wharf and the waterfront shops. Enjoyed french pasties for lunch and headed over to the Morro rock for a walk. Enjoyed fish and chips at the wharf with a canadian couple.
Not much done as we wound down and indulged in Kahlua on the balcony with the canadian couple and young english couple ...

... Early evening drive up to Morro Bay for another luxury stay in a Motel 6 catching a California sunset on the way. Morro Bay was closer than we we thought and we arrived for the sunset, pity it was masked by the clouds of dust from the Ce-ment factory and the household waste management site.
