... we pulled out the maps and charts than Ursula got an email from her sister in Sweden telling her that her eldest daughter Sofia and her 11 year old daughter Sandra were going to Trogir in Croatia on the 18th. Sandra is a majorette in the local marching band from their town. They were scheduled to play in Trogir on 20th and in Split on 21st June.
Thus at 4am on 16th June we set sail back towards Lastovo, Croatia

Rough Seas Ahead
I was disappointed to hear that our boat ride in the Adriatic was cancelled due to rough seas. Apparently this was a rare occurrence since the Adriatic is usually very calm, which only added to my feeling of misfortune. But not all hope is lost. The hotel Gusmay is a pleasant surprise. Great architecture by Marcello D'Olivo 1962. We left Positano early this morning and drove down the Amalfi Coast behind many tour buses and scooters. We stopped in Ravello for lunch then continued over the mountain and then across italy to the adriatic. After a long drive we came upon this hotel and decide to stay 2 nights. ...
