      ... the Berkshires and went for a great hike up monument mountain where we were rewarded with some stunning views before heading to our overnight resting spot at The Red Lion in Stockbridge. This is an amazing 18th century inn which felt so old school for America. It was a charming spot to unwind and the local Great Barrington Brewery make a lovely IPA.       ... to Vermont looking for FALL COLOR! And found it too. Actually most of the color was in Massachusetts. Vermont was awe fully dry. All of the stream beds were extremely low. But all along the way we say wonderful vistas and quaint New England towns. Covered bridges, The Berkshires, The Green Mountains, The Yankee Candle Factory Shops!
