"That man looks like he has a combine harvester for legs." "Would that make him a trac-taur?" So peter had a bad night's sleep last night and took him a while to wake up today. We made up for it with a 'Vermont-style' breakfast, which was so tasty! Even the toast was twice as thick as normal bread! The day came with a few steep climbs, that made the legs burn. Found two base jumpers leaping from the cliffs! ...

Dan and his new (as in yesterday!!) wife, Mary were our gracious hosts last year…they put us up in their driveway, grilled out for us several times, and invited us to relax in their screened-in porch both evenings we were there. Their ...

... That said, superslabs proved quite useful in navigating around some of the more populated areas. There are few things more miserable than being stuck in rural sprawl gridlock when it's 86, sunny and on a bike.   A couple other items of note:

  •  went one exit, went home to get oil this morning. Boxers burn oil.
  • GPS fuse got tripped when I loctited the battery screws. Ended up having to fix that at a gas station in PA.
  • Brake failure ...
