... hammer day to get to everything else. Temps were in the mid to upper 80s most of the day. I did a good job staying hydrated via 3 long pulls from the CamelBak every 15 minutes. I used the Elixer stuff which seemed to keep my electrolytes balanced well. In comparison to when I did a similar trip in 2009 (CHM to West Hartford, CT) on the ST, today felt better even though the other trip was in the low 70s. Kettlebell conditioning works better than cycling for motorcycle ...

So this post is coming late, but we both arrived safely and its been over a month now... We are now both official lifeguards in the US of A Wahoooooo!!!! Session 1 has passed and we are nearly at the end of session 2. The kids are great and camp is going really well despite illness and bad weather. We are both fully trained in belaying and qualified ...

... Elijah to go to sleep prior to arriving because he was so fired up (and insistent) to see the Welcome to Massachusetts sign. Finally, around 10:45pm he fell asleep but we pulled over at the sign a little over midnight and I roused him to look out the window and see it. He said, "I'm alive!" and promptly fell back into a deep sleep.

What could be better than to open the RV doors Saturday morning to a quiet, sunny day with the birds chirping and see ...

Day 12 - We are in the Hamptons

... then usual -- around 3:30pm -- because we were both a little tired and the weather was still sunny. It was great to be able to sit outside- Denis even donned shorts for the first time - we relaxed and walked the campground. It was warm. I wasn't too sure looking at the weather that we would get warm but we did. Now the frogs are croaking loud and strong -- we are in the Hamptons, not sure if this is what would be known as THE Hamptons but we are at a KOA ...
