To round off our free time in Hollywood, this morning we went to Greystones Mansion which is owned by the city of Beverley HilIs and is on the historic monuments list. The grounds and gardens are free to explore but unfortunately the house is closed to the public. ... we were off (very cautiously!!) to walmart for supplies. We found everything we needed so made the short trip to the Anaheim RV Village and parked up, stocked up and then Gaz fell asleep. The kids found the pool (got some strange looks from the Americans "don't they know it's winter??") and then we walked up to see where Disneyland was (only 10min walk) ...

... stealing Christmas put a small damper on the horror of the undead attacking. However, that was quickly rectified as we made it to Psycho's Bates Motel (which was, hilariously enough, directly beside the home of the Whos). We walked through the mess of cars and old, ratty hotel rooms as walkers jumped out at us. ... and walked for hours and every place said they didnt do them, my feet
were that hot and swelled that blisters started coming up. I gave up looking
and headed back to the motel as it was dark, I popped my head into the
receptionist as a last resort and asked her for a plug Id been searching for
hours for. She opened a draw and there lay 3 of them. As you can imagine I was
annoyed at myself.
