    ... we picked up our new hire car - crazy when a hire car overnight is cheaper than 2 x taxis. Seattle is pretty!     ... also the 'Salmon Homecoming' festival and as part of this there were First Nation dragon boat parades. Later in the evening the First Nation people (Indians) were dressed in elaborate costumes and danced to lots of drumming. We really liked the young kid wearing a unicorn head.

    Wow how the time has flown. We have had amazing weather!!! Maybe 72 in the afternoon with clear skies and lots of sunshine. We have eaten every dinner on the deck which has about a 20 mile vista of the Sound. I'll put a map in the pictures so you can see where we are. Look for the blue dot. Looking back a day or two, we had the chance to go kayaking! Nancy gave us a lesson and then the fun began. The hardest part was getting into the kayak with bad knees. Once that ...
