Had a pretty good nights sleep and a really nice continental breakfast. Caught the local bus into the old town of Dubrovnik. It only took about 10 minutes once it arrived. I just wish Europeans knew what a queue was! As the bus pulled up the police blocked the street off and you could hear sirens in the distance. There were cameramen from a TV station there so I assumed someone of importance was on their way. Pushed my way to the front - I'm getting used ...

It was a lovely way to spend our last night on board, and even had a live brass band playing at the nearby resort where we were able to play name that tune – and later when we thought the band had gotten surprisingly louder from our cabin, we realised that they had actually gotten on a boat and were sailing around! Guess that’s life on the water. One more night at sea – wonder what it’s like to sleep on land ...

Leigh, Hilary, and I went on a fabulous day trip from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Somehow, seeing Dubrovnik has been stuck in my mind since I was, I don't know, in middle school or high school or something. Way before I actually even knew where it was. ... the Hilton, by the parking lot. Just outside the gates of the city there are lots of kayak companies selling their wares, but none were "Adriatic Adventures", and none seemed to know where this company's office was. Hmmmm...little stressed wondering if we were duped.
