Still on the topic of food but so local, next door to our place was an amazing restaurant called the Turned Turtle. Here you paid for your main and got a appetiser, starter and dessert included. Although we ate lobster for 7 days straight here we did enjoy some incredible ribs and steak one night, breaking the norm.

... can walk around it at a leisurely pace within 2 hours. We wandered a few times over to the east side of the island, where most of the hostel / simple cabana style accommodation was. These places were literally on the beach, now more than 5-10 meters from the waves, unbelievable. The only downside was the wind, constantly blowing, making the water chopping and in my opinion not super inviting. But hey, we wandered in anyways!! Further around towards the north east was a resort ...

... get to see them again.

On this particular night there was a island wide bonfire on the other side of the island. Apparently it happens every week. It was our last night on the island so of course we were going to take advantage of the local shena****ns. Max, our favorite waiter at the Turned Turtle, led us across the island to Tranquilo (a restaurant/bar on the other side of the island). We taught our Swiss friends the electric slide and ...
