... to show that in front of Ellie! Some sections were actually pretty tricky... Graded 3 out of 5 ... Not bad for first timers!! She was very glad we had gone with a guide and we hadn't tried to attempt it alone. The view at the top was great and we enjoyed a hot chocolate in the cafeteria before walking back down to the Cable Car and zooming back down to the village. Via Ferrata completed and new Hunt Family Sport ...

Yippee!! We are here in Italy in the Dolomites. Campsite No 4 is called Miravelle and it's in a pretty little village called Campitello Di Fassa. It's a lovely site, again very clean and well presented. The location of it is amazing - we are in the bottom of the valley with the mountains rising up all around us and loads of trees too. We left Camping Ampersee at 9:00 and headed down the Autobahn into Munich, along with every other car in Germany!! Yes of course there were some more roadworks just to slow things down a little more. Then to finally put the nail in the coffin of the myth of German efficiency the two major Autobahns that we need to drive on are linked by using a central highway through the metropolis of Munich. Traffic lights, junctions, shops, schools... ...

... at the top we saw that the walking tracks zig zagged the train tracks through the countryside and many walkers were using the train to break or extend their routes. In hindsight a train ticket would have added even more to the day. There are 2 further cable cars that travel up to 2260m, which would be great to explore, but we begin cycling ...

... off the cliff. But somehow they get around every corner just fine. They ride the same way both up and down the mountain. And I am not talking about just men, these women put us American Women riders to shame. We talked to a gentleman from Switzerland and he had visited the states before and he said the American speed limits really put a damper on their style of riding.
