Yes we are finally here at Hansville, Wa, celebrating great friendships; old and new. We always say it's our cars that brought us together, and it's the friendships that keep us together. Many thanks, and huge kudos to Linda and Larry for hosting another great function! Linda calls it "an adult pyjama party" which raised a few eyebrows from ...

... for the week as we drove over 10,000 Klms I was a bit disappointed there was not trophy involved.
The taxi took us into town for about $20 less than the previous driver...not to self...Don't trust any cab drivers that wear Turbans. We steamed the last of our purple beans, spinach, zucchini, and squash and filled ...

We took the monorail out to the iconic Space Needle and I eventually got my coffee while Nigel wandered round and found a pie! A real, hot, proper meat pie with pastry top and bottom and moist with gravy – just as he was losing hope of ever finding such a thing in America! That will probably be his enduring memory ...

Into every life, a little rain must fall...

... mind you, but a steady, hearty rain. Even so, the island looked more at home in a bit of rain than it had earlier in the day with sun.

Back at Fort Casey we hunkered down into the little RV, which always feels a bit smaller when you are shut in. Alan reads on the bed and I blog while sitting on the cooler in my stadium back-rest with my computer on a TV tray. Like I said, at times like this the RV can feel a bit small. Really small is someone has ...
