After dinner we had to hightail it from the Venetian down to the MGM Grand to have our minds blown by David Copperfield. It was an amazing show and some of the **** he did was so incredible. Billy and I are sure he is an alien... there is no other explanation!! From there we did a lot of drinking and some gambling at the ***** table, which was fun but 'momma did not get a new pair ...

One surprise for us though was the playing field opposite our hotel. Mind you it was covered in snow but did appear to have Rugby goalposts! They looked like rugby posts but in Aspen? Didn't make any sense so today we went searching and found the 'Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Club'. After two huge days on the hill it was good to have a quiet evening. A couple of delightful Californian Pinot Noirs in front of the fire was a lovely way to finish one of the most exciting weekends we have experienced. To think we do it all again with the men next weekend in Beaver Creek! Bring it On!!
... carved their way down the course. It was very steep and tricky in parts and some of the more fancied skiers struggled in the conditions. We cheered, supported all of them and especially our Aussie Greta Small. It was not meant to be today as she crashed out a third of the way down. After 66 competitors had skied, the field was narrowed down to a final 30 who would ski the 2nd run after lunch.

... them come down. You couldn't necessarily make out who they were because they were all rugged up. We met an All American family from Wisconsin also checking out the course. The French team were taking some promotional photos and I am not sure if we photobombed them or they photobombed us. We all had a good laugh. I hope they perform well tomorrow.
