... moved us that they weren't feeling very excited, poor things. I was full of dread and it happened. My sister was opened and her mistress started rummaging saying things like, why can't I find such and such, or I thought I was going to pack better than this, and I'll have to repack before....... ... couple from Oklahoma. His name was Chuck, hers was Michele. They talked to us for a couple of hours about living in Europe while in the military, and gave us great info for our trip. Sunset over the ocean was fabulous. We had the back of the ship almost to ourselves to watch it. We then made our way up for a late dinner after sunset. ... and media.  All wine, drinks, specialty restaurants, sushi, raw bar, all of it was gratis. The ship's décor is far from the normal gaudy NCL style.  This was tasteful in browns and soft blues.  All the restaurants were extremely well fitted out.  Dark woods, beautiful wall and window treatments, and contemporary seating were found everywhere.  For a ship so large, the public areas seemed welcoming and ...

... 100 consecutive cruisers and we were offered lunch at one of the speciality Italian restaurant's - Giovanni's.

We watched with amusement, the newbies arriving on board, awestruck at the enormity of the ship. Their faces must have mimicked ours last week as they walked through Central Park.

... prices in America are ex VAT so when you get to the till you get a nice surprise. We went grocery shopping and had red wine at the house. All of the other housemates were still partying so I thought 'if you can't beat them, join them' and besides there isn't much else to do. There were so many people here.
