A travel blog entry by goodrichodyssey on Nov 08, 2014

As the birds fly south for the winter so do Darcy and I. Just in time to avoid the "polar vortex" coming in from Canada later this week. We made our way to our winter home base in Naples, Florida. For some of this years stops the temperature will be dropping dramatically! Yesterday, we moved to a campground just north of Naples, FL.

A strong cold front came through starting the night before we left Key West, so we had pretty strong winds blowing at us most of the way up.

We checked out the Lighthouse east end but could not find a place to park. It was a newer metal framed lighthouse- not too exciting. Lots of bike riders on this island- lots! The couple of traffic cops really slow down the flow of traffic too. We drove down to JN "Ding" ...

      MMA

I thought I would put all the things I have observed about MMA in one place for easier access. I'll need to go through and clean up the punctuation later.

If an opponent is moving forward quickly your punch will have much more impact on them.

If in topside position rest by covering opponents nose and mouth. If it is a street fight possibly reconsider this and watch for the biter.

Push your foot and heal into opponents ...

      The Future of Weather

A travel blog entry by robthurston on Jan 18, 2013

      Weather

They say that we get 1 percent better at predicting hurricane paths each year. A meteorologist said it I remember about 5 years ago. So in 95 years we should be able to predict hurricanes and other destructive weather patterns or events from the moment they form, or even before, all the way to where and when they will end. Without errors. I have no doubt that one day we will accomplish this.

As an aside, couldn't we maybe become so good we ...
