Hey Guys, this is Piper with another blog entry! Today, after Bahia Honda State Park, we drove to Bluewater Key RV Resort. I was impressed when we arrived. The whole place was neat, organized, and nicer than ever other RV resort yet. The very kind staff helped us back in without a hassle( We would have wrecked the RV otherwise) and we set off to explore. The first thing we noticed was a huge tiki hut. It had a ...

Roads are paved, right on the water front, our site is not on the water but a 5 minute walk to the breakwater area. They have pavilion there for gatherings and a fish ...

... landscape suppliers plus some fruit stands with giant delicious papayas!! Next we took the Overseas Highway through the Florida Keys - classed as the ultimate road trip - 126 miles long & 42 bridges across the Ocean!!   The drive on the first 40 miles was nothing special. It wasn't as flashy & prosperous as I expected. Like many North American places there appears to be no real planning so there's a small ...

      More exploring

A travel blog entry by patandglenn on Mar 13, 2014

We had thunderstorms in the night and the day started out cool. Later in the morning the wind settled a bit and out came the sun. We were just settling in with books and painting on the balcony when up came the wind and down went the temperature! It didn't last long. We went driving north to check out 2 more State Parks. Our first stop was Curry Hammock. It was very clean, but small and the water was very shallow and the bottom looked mucky. They had ...
