We had thunderstorms in the night and the day started out cool. Later in the morning the wind settled a bit and out came the sun. We were just settling in with books and painting on the balcony when up came the wind and down went the temperature! It didn't last long. We went driving north to check out 2 more State Parks. Our first stop was Curry Hammock. It was very clean, but small and the water was very shallow and the bottom looked mucky. They had ...

This morning we headed out to see what Coco Plum Beach was like. It's a natural Beach with not a lot of improvements, other than washrooms and a picnic area.It was quiet when we arrived , but gradually more people and dogs arrived to soak up the sun. The beach is a good size. The water is very shallow- so the dogs love it.I enjoyed watching them race and play. One end ...

Today was cooler than any so far. Glenn toughed it out on the balcony while I caught up on the blog. In the afternoon we went to the Seafood festival. There was good music, Food, Artisans, Displays and all were very nicely set up. The grounds were very nice nd clean. That was thanks to a group on Inmates from the nearby ...
