      At 12:30 they had a parade on the promenade. I’m not really into parades but I did want to see what one would be like in the ship. If you like parades it would probably be a good experience.       All up, showered and eating breakfast. Peat Taylor tours picking us up for the trip to Nine Mile. Kids already moaning. Can we go swimming, can we go on the beach etc. Hour to wait before the drive up. Time for sunscreen and bug spray ? We had a minibus to ourselves ! Air con and loads of space.       ... and honest so i was dreading what the kids could be like as children are verrrry honest!
      I met the principal Daniel who is just the best headmaster a school could dream for, all the staff were unbelieveably welcoming and chatty, teaching me the local patois and joking with me. Apparently i am very "chirpy" and "infectious" not a bad first impression then!

      ... to be a great choice. Once we debarked from the ship, we passed through the terminal out to a huge row of buses, taxis, and the like. Our excursion - Chukka River Kayak and Canopy Tour - had only ten people in it. We got in the bus and finally got through the brouhaha of the terminal. We headed up into the mountains and jungle south of Montego Bay, hanging on as the driver whipped around corners on the very tight roads.
