... the next tour. Info given by tour guide was overwhelming, but we understood his clapping of hands to hurry us up!! Lowering the flag at 5 pm with taps sent chills down our spine. A quick stop at Walmart was needed, but we were always in the wrong lane. Sis Terry text messaged me and wondered why we were going in circles!!! She follows us on Apple's Find a Friends app! ... in the oldest hotel in Stowe, and long story short, he eventually fell off the roof while trying to save a child who somehow got out on the roof. He is a friendly ghost, and guests at the hotel can frequently hear him tap dancing and often wake up their belongings rearranged in their hotel room. It was a spooky evening that got us in the mood for Halloween!

... are almost home! The White Mountains greet us in New Hampshire and we enjoy a familiar landscape. The clouds threaten rain and we prepare ourselves... Sara dons the rain gear, Mark will weather the storm. An hour from home and we encounter spots of heavy rain, although we aren't bothered, we are soaked. It's a bittersweet return.
