... Some comfy beds, great dinner, and a market stop in downtown Lancaster the next morning made for a good pit stop for us. We decided we had enough of the city life and are going to skip Baltimore and Washington DC all together and head straight for the hills of Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. ... the street from Franklin and Marshall College. They have great beer and a very impressive food selection. Not your typical brewpub. Well worth finding them if you are in Lancaster. Or even nearby.

Well, tomorrow we head out to New Holland again to get the new key for the Landcruiser, then continue south toward Virginia. We plan to spend two nights in Shenandoah National Park before heading on to Roanoke for the convention.

Stopped at a Pilot where TJ reveled in the cool green grass and breezes. Had to get some Tastycakes - don't get those down south! Rode south on back roads into Lancaster County - even saw the requisite horse and buggy. Got in to the campground early afternoon and finally had my full level of hookups - electric, water, and sewer - pretty cool! Took TJ down to the campgound pond and let him swim around and fetch ...
