      ... at the power of these big planes to get off the ground.
      One more leg to go , from Tokyo to BKK. The guy beside me was going to Okinawa and the guy ahead of me said his wife was from Ubon ratchathani, where I started last years bike trip. It's just a quick hello today.

      This afternoon we went Whale watching on the inflatable Zodiac. That was awesome. Just like the Jetboat ride in Sydney harbour except you are in the open sea. Travelled down into US waters for the first sightings...... 6 Humpbacks (none breached unfortunately) and then back over to a channel to a pod of Orca's

      - The Empress Hotel: take a free tour through the Empress and see the old ballrooms, have high tea or dine in the restaurant inside. The outside is surrounded by a white archway and beautiful flowers. The queen stayed here once.

      - Parliament house: Beautiful architecture with a gold centrepiece. It is surrounded by a beautiful fountain, Indigenous totem poles and trees. Tourists and locals lay on the grass during the ...

      Caught up with Darryl he was taking Lucy for a walk she is slowly getting used to us (good guard dog). Darryl gave us written directions for catching the bus to Victoria for our sightseeing day.
