We discovered that Vernal is an oil town, with some tourism. There are heavy vehicles transporting all types of oilfield equipment running up and down main street all day. Wouldn't you know it...Liz has found a shop that sells Christmas ornaments at 75% off !! I wouldn't recommend the Best Western Dinosaur at present as it is being renovated, with all of the associated noise and disturbances.
