    ... smoothest days on the road are the most uneventful. We didn't have any traffic issues, we didn't get in a fight over directions or driving habits, we didn't have any rain (or hail! WTF, ARIZONA!?), and we didn't have any restaurant issues that lead us to starve in the desert. It was smooth driving until sunny Sacramento, California.

    ... brother of Gary, who was the first family member I visited on my travels. It is amazing that my first stop and last stop on this trip was to spend time with members of the Briggs family. These two cousins are the last of my mom's side of the family that I know.
