Day 10
Last day in Sheffield - and last full day in England for that matter. It's been an interesting ten days. The aim of this trip was to get back in touch with my English side, especially the language - to try to regain some kind of fluency in my native tongue. And I suppose it's worked, at least a bit. I have had to swallow a few Swedish words that were doing their utmost to escape from my lips, and some have even succeeded in sneaking their way ...
Airports and aeroplanes
... all still wearing their headphones (tripwires for toilet bound me!) With ninja skills like that I should be at the Olympics, I'm wasted at Fox's. It seems like everyone on the plane is asleep apart from me. I'm bored and walking around the plane writing this. I think we must be going over Brisbane now, almost there. Just another 2hours 40minutes. Woop! I'm gonna see if I can get another hot snack. I'm not actually hungry I'm just bored and yesterday ...

My actual friend arrives a few minutes later and we head into town for lunch and a wander. First port of call is the Arts Tower, an eyesore of a skyscraper from the sixties that felt like it was about to fall down any minute when I was studying there in the early nineties, so I'm surprised it's ...
Day 6
... was spent late-night shopping at Meadowhall - well, mostly in Primark if I'm honest. The place was packed, presumably because it's the run-up to Christmas and everything is open until 10 pm. Managed to find an Only Fools and Horses T-shirt in the men's department, which is a welcome addition to my wardrobe and almost guaranteed to be unique in Sweden. As for the weekend, I'll be catching up with an old friend from uni, so it's going to be nostalgia overload, I ...
