This morning, the four of us jumped in the car and headed out to the northeast to check out Letchworth State Park that is near where Rick lived before he joined the Army.

We decided today, that we would drive into the inner city of Buffalo and check out the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park near the harbor.

The park was opened in 1979 and is the home of guided missile cruiser USS Little Rock (CLG-4), WWII destroyer USS The Sullivans (DD-537), and WWII submarine USS Croaker (SSK-246.

... magic mineral broth vegetable soup from wonderful sister Roz's cookbook, as well as brightly colored fresh cut flowers to contrast with the snow. Got to talk to Emily for over an hour. Most of all - got to do a laundry and dry it!:-). Don't ever take fluffy towels for granted!
