    ... and down and down to the cascades we saw earlier. We are in the shade looking up at the falls when the mist covers us. It’s so COLD.

    People crowd the area trying to take photos and selfies. Allen decides to take photos of the marmots, large furry rodent-type animals, who apparently live in the area.     ... at Artisan Pizza for gluten-free pizza. Yep, that’s a yummy pizza. Finally, we stop at Moo’s, back on the square in Jackson. We each have a scoop of Moo’s homemade ice cream. It’s delicious. We walk a bit on the boardwalk to find Cocolove, the boutique chocolate shop our visitor center pal told us about. OMG is all I have to say for the moment.

    ... observatories. He even built an observatory at TSS. Sam has also been recognized by NASA for a lesson that he wrote on astronomy. He is currently launching a nonprofit organization called Wyoming Stargazing in the hopes to help others explore the extraordinary in the ordinary. If the skies are clear, we will have the opportunity to view the night sky, as well as several planets through telescopes this evening.

    We were awakened this morning, at 6:30, by a dog barking in the hall. Not too happy about that. We couldn’t really get back to sleep after that, as people started getting up and slamming doors.     ... scene! Yellowstone Park itself is huge, with tons of different things to see and do. One of the first stops we made were some sulfur cents on the side of Yellowstone Lake.
