The dinner finished up around 8:30 pm and Brenda & Robin drove us to our hotel where we said our farewells. We have had a fantastic stay with them. I was so lucky to have Robin available to drive me around for the 3 days I was with them and we both appreciated their very kind hospitality and we feel we have 2 new lifelong friends. ... no wind and takeoff was effortless. We bank to the left and start heading eastwards over consecutive mountain ranges. At 40,200feet it is easy to spot the Arrow Lakes and the Columbia River valley followed quickly by the foothills and the flat prairies where millions of buffalo used to roam. Canada's varied topography seems endless and I remember surveying it like it was just yesterday.

... the gauze I was using and ran away!! Tuesday James was back at the school and teaching math again. I went back to the hospital and worked with one of the general practitioners Dr Raj. He is an Indian man, trained in Ukraine, and working in Ghana. It was an interesting morning. I watched a woman have a stroke in front of me. The treatment for this in Ghana?? Blood pressure medication and admission to hospital- oh and she had to find her own way to the lab ...
