Toronto and Niagara Falls, Ontario

Made our way to Toronto, Breezer drove the 5hr leg. We stayed at Hostel International near downtown. Went out for tea and had a quiet one. We didn’t have much time in Toronto so we spent the morning roaming the city and went down to the city Markets. It was so good. Lots of beautiful meats and cheeses. We bought everything for fresh bread rolls and whipped them up in the hostel for lunch on the road. We spent 2 hours driving to Niagara Falls. They were pretty cool! I thought they ...

... a cloud in the sky so I decided to go up the CN tower. Being a Sunday it was a bit busy and I had to queue up for about 20 minutes. The town by the Falls has become dreadfully commercialised, with hotels paying through the nose to get a prime spot next to the casino when it was built 10 years ago, but the Falls themselves were lovely, and being May, it was not too busy. The boat ride was lots of fun. For me, anyway, as I was fully covered under the free poncho we were given. Kate got a bit damp round the edges but she dried off quickly enough. I'm not sure she got as good ...

... get me bag from baggage and then in a crowd of people , a security guard asked to speak to me. He too asked two of the same questions as did the customs man and wanted to check my passport and declare form. At this point I was getting really paranoid and also frustrated as it made it longer to get through customs, to get to the next flight to Toronto. Because of this I had to rush through security to make it to the next gate were they ...
