      ... salad and two local IPAs. Got back to the "big house" and promptly got sick. Off to bed at 10pm for me!

      It was so good to finally meet Cindy's family (after almost 30 years!). Nice clan. I might have to visit them again...

      ... went to the Olive Garden for dinner.

      Got back to the house and Cindy dragged out some old photo albums to jog my fading memory of places we went to when we were in high school. God, we looked SO YOUNG! Where has the time gone? Up until after midnight reminiscing. What fun we had...and what secrets we kept!

      Cindy took Friday off from work so we could catch-up.

      Return to Vietnam--2015 In August of 1966 I made my first trip to Vietnam. That was 49 years ago! At the time I had no idea what the future held and I had no idea what my life would be, certainly in nearly 50 years. As I sat with my family at Kelly’s Restaurant in Okmulgee, OK, it was a somber time. We all tried to be happy and not show our concerns and even fear. My wife, Wanda, and our two children Steve 4 and Susan 2 were certainly unaware that Daddy was going to war!! ...

      ... in 1966-67.  Also, we will accompany Quan and Jacqueline to locations around Ho Chi Minh City where they are planning to work with some US doctors to perform catarac surgery for poor people.  Other side trips are planned in that area. After the Vietnamese family leaves to return to the USA, Steve and I will remain in Ho Chi Minh City for about 4 days and do some sightseeing and day trips to the Delta, Tay Ninh, Cu Chi and possible Vung Tau before we return to the USA on Jan ...
