      In our effort to hit every refuge, state park and interesting natural habitat within an hour or so of base camp, we went St. Vincent Island today. You need to take a shuttle boat there and there ain't nothin' but nature. We walked out on the "inland" road about an hour and then cut over to the beach for another couple of hours.       We walked this morning on the beach in the fog- all 5 of us. It went very well and all 3 girls got some off leash time and chased around. It was fun to walk with Star also. Very nice beach and sand...some waves today. Star made a comment about Rue to a fisherman w a dog, Rue was growling and Star said "she's a fighter" and they guy muttered, should have brought my gun...not the best way to end our walk and I wish it hadn't happened because ...
