... returned from Bangkok in the evening with a new passport, and we ran into two of our Kellogg friends who happened to be staying in the same hotel. ... we took off. Resolved apparently? Fell asleep on the flight and was awoken by the crash of landing, absolutely **** myself haha. Got a train from the airport to KL sentral then a taxi to the hostel. Met Christian (from Hakney) and a German chick who's name we forgot. I told them about Jalan Alor (street food road), we headed there for dinner. Not as good as Indo food so far but I did have Stingray and Singapore noodles so can't argue for ...

... The fact the AirAsia in flight shop catalogue was touting the Caterhamn F1 team's wares exacerbated my excitement.

The crew were very chuffed to have arrived 30 minutes early. I found the timing a bit odd as my booking says the flight takes 1 hour but the pilot in his introduction announced the flight time would be 35 minutes. He was proved correct.
