European-style farmhouses and those giant wind turbines everywhere along I-90 through Minnesota. And the giant bluffs along the flood-swollen Mississippi River as we entered Wisconsin ...

... s Mound" --- we were curious and weren't quite sure what it was. Well, it's a ski area. Since the Midwest doesn't have mountains, they have man-made hills which they use for skiing during the winter and call them mounds. Bruce's Mound was 'closed for the season' of course.
The weather these past two days during the day was absolutely beautiful --- nice and sunny/warm, but last night we had a horrible ...
