    ... the interchange at East Haven cause we may have taken the wrong exit (twice) and had to 'make a legal u-turn where possible and return to the designated route'. Geoff doing well with the right-hand side of the road driving but pretty tired cause it takes a lot of concentration. The B&B was nice and had a lovely view from our window across a small beach and bay. Owners were very friendly and helped us decide what to do in the next 4 days. Dinner, beach walk, bed. Surprise ...

    June 20 departed Jocotepec at 8am arrived at Matehuala , Mexico at 8pm 273 miles
    June 21 departed Matehuala, Mexico at 9am arrived at Laredo, Texas at 10pm 381 miles = Slept overnight at Stripes Gas Station.
    June 22 arrived at GOLIAD, Texas 174 miles and stayed 2 nights at Aranama RV Park.
    June 24 departed Goliad, TX at 7am arrived at LUFKIN, Texas at 3:30pm 280 Miles = Slept at Walmart parking ...

    Our friends coordinated a Police escorted ride down Main Street last night in Middletown Ct. to MONDO, where there was a fundraiser for The ONE Ride. The Police Officers were great... and all over our 14,000 Miles of Giving campaign. It rained all day until we were ready for our dramatic entrance when the skies cleared for me, Purple Haze and a new riding friend, Marilyn on her bike, with our Police escorted, traffic stopping 6 block ride down Main Street. ...

    ... ignorance is bliss!!

    From the New York border to New Haven we were in traffic - (note to my Memphis friends - there IS no traffic in Memphis!) all the New Yorkers getting out of town for the weekend I guess. We did see this truck - it says "Swimming Pool Water" (click to make the picture bigger). Swimming Pool Water? Seriously? People in New England get their swimming pool water delivered in a tank truck?
