... drum riser had sheared off it's casters in Scranton, so they had to re-weld them on before we could roll it in place. Because of that, we were delayed in placing the Def Leppard LED screens until it was in place. Because the load in was so smooth, we had everything in place even with delays with plenty of time before the show.

All in all, it was a good venue, and a great show.

Day 7: Up the East Coast

... made it up to the New London/Groton area, and we took a little tour up the Thames (pronounced "tems" when in runs through London, here is it pronounced "thames" when it runs through New London) to look at the submarines. For me, this is a true homecoming, as I was born in New London, although I have no memories of that time except the one of being lowered into the sub, and I am not really sure if that is a true memory or not.

... boring stroll along the cold waters of the beach. Sitting on those  rocks might do some magic and sprinkle some philosophy in the conversations with the sound of the sea amidst the rays of the setting sun. What we also did is drove from Madison to the Essex steam engine station and had the dinner on train. The less spoken about the dinner the better it is ! Quality of the food is lacking .
