Most people on our ship went to Pompeii, and I plan to do that my second time in Naples. I chose to go to the island of Capri, as my mom went last year and loved it. There was a shore excursion with our boat that was going to Capri, but I went on my own, as everything I read online suggested that I could get there easily without purchasing an overly expensive tour.

Up and left the B&B with an hour and a bit to spare for our walk to the station. Saw Venice flooded from high tide. ... getting around Napoli would be difficult. I chose a small business hotel Le Chiminee, close to Napoli airport. The hotel may have been close to the airport, but it was based on a road similar to Seven Sisters road in North London. The hotel was a diamond in the rough.
