We played around a bit - I tried to go up the creek but didn't want to risk capsizing since it was still a bit chilly. ... to the Whiteface Adventure Center. Whiteface is a the 5th highest mountain in New York. We rode a gondola up to the bottom of "Little Whiteface". We spent time exploring there. Our final destination of the day had us heading to 4,295 feet (Oh no! Hoping for no altitude sickness for Mom!) to climb to the summit of Whiteface Mountain. We climbed the rocky Alpine Trail ...
