... an acorn tree, and even though there are umbrellas over my head, acorns still kept falling on me - ouch! I had a nice squid salad there. One thing I love about Ukraine is all the different squid dishes they have here. In America, squid is either fried - calamari - or drenched in tomato sauce, which messes up the flavor in both cases. I like squid sauteed or grilled, soooo good!

This other girl that I liked and thought was very attractive ...

We did a little shopping at the mall, and she asked why I don't have any rings? Rings block out the "evil eye" she said, when people give me dirty looks or are jealous. I thought, you know, that's a good point so I bought a steel ring.

Then we went to a cafe and smoked a hookah pipe, they call that "Kalian" here.

... digicam. However, the VERY day when I needed to take the train to Odessa, the airport called me and said my luggage had arrived!

So I quickly took a taxi to the airport, grabbed my luggage, and then went off to the train station. So I had 2 big suitcases and my huge laptop on my back (FYI my laptop is a 20 incher and weighs a ton!). Kiev train station is huge! And I was immediately lost ...

... Oh well, I didn't want to skip Moldova, Bulgaria, and Romania. So, after I return I'll have plenty of time to figure out the route. But I have heard nothing but good things about Turkey...so I am eager to get going.

I found this restaurant, Top Sandwich, in Odessa that I just love. All kinds of things on the menu, and not terribly expensive. Good sushi. Which I have ...

... no other key to the room. Fortunately I didn't have to wait much time. The "neighbours" told me dinner would be served at seven, and they were very strict about meal times.
Indeed, we all felt like little kids who had to behave. As someone said in one of the enactments: Good boys come to lunch on time, or they will eat cold food.

... instead. All 500000000 of them. Yes, and I'm not exaggerating. We were breathing a little heavily by the tiime we got to the top, and our legs had a bit of a burn on, but we knew that if there were 50000000 more steps, we could easily carry on with twice the load.
As we were lying on our bags in the shade of an impressive looking quarter-circle of a building two minutes later, we decided that we will get a taxi back to the hostel. Our hostel turned out ...

... a restaurant, a cinema, airplane seating section, a pub, a hair saloon, and a children's play area, painted bright yellow on the outside.
We spent the day sunbathing some more, and in the evening, chatting over meal with our company on our table, who suggested we check out Crimea in the Ukraine, and then over a couple of beers, Baram, the Turkish guy told us of his travels across Russia and Mongolia, and suggested many things that we could possibly do. I'd tell you about them ...

But that is it! More than two weeks with people who i can say now i love and would like to see more often if only i could. Who knew that i would find SO good friends here! I've never been treated so well. Who knew that i would fall in love.This craziest thing we know. And it's not just a seaside story it's a fairytale, my own story with continuation.

With no plans for the evening Irina suggested the Odessa opera, Jie immediately smelt revenge for the football in Sofia and so it was decided. One of Odessa's grandest buildings is its opera house, opened in 1810 the shape of the building creates acoustics that means even a whisper from the stage can be heard from all corners of the auditorium. We got our chance to verify this ...

... not a five star hotel. It has an amazing beauty&spa-centre, but the price is also amazing: 22 €. I was surprised to see that there were max. 10 guests in the whole hotel. Every evening two prostitutes were sitting in the entrance hall and wanted to...... I believe that Odessa is even more beautiful in summer when the whole city is green, but itīs worth a trip every season.
