    Away from Ypres by 9.30 in beautiful weather, hot and sunny. Not the best of journeys with several road works plus they closed the motorway in Holland and this added 10 miles and 45 minutes.     ... my mum and telling her and after that jumping through the garden. So happy. The next thing I did: I accepted it.

    ... decided to take his advice and follow an alternative route and as we crossed the motorway further down the line and we could see the miles of traffic not moving we knew it was the right decision.
