    Checking out of the Marriott was quick and easy. A cab was ready for us by the time we got outside. The port is within minutes of the hotel.


    Once our luggage was taken from us, we entered a large building and we felt like sheep being herded into a corral. This had to be one of the most awkward ways to keep people inline. We were given color coded cards and when your color was called then you proceeded to check in. ...

    ... other. We of course tell them we're from Ohio, because in the real world people from Ontario do not make this kind of happy fun with people from Quebec.


    To get a feel for Hollywood Beach do a google images search. But do avoid looking at the hi-rise photos. They don't at all do the place justice.

    ... It looks like prairies of grass with occasional groups of trees. But it's all water. This time of year you can see some of the water but most of it looks like dry land. Not swampy like you might expect. The land was donated by Exxon Mobile after they determined that the oil underneath it was too sulfurous to be economically converted to fuel.
