I wish I could work out this TravelPod, I suppose I will have it down pat in 4 weeks time! Anyway, we had a free day in Richmond where all we did was tour the castle, walk around the Saturday market, which was very small and had some lovely cheeses and breads on sale and then - wait for it- Greg sat down in the lounge of the B&B, read a book for an hour or so AND had a nap. Earlier in the week I had nothing planned for my evening so when one of the waiters was looking to go to a Michelin star restaurant in the area and asked me to join him, I decided to accompany him. Out of curiosity mostly, I knew it would not just be a meal, but a whole evening affair, like I said earlier, a form of entertainment and wonder.

It has clouded over tonight and the wind has got up, not sitting out tonight, so Howard and Debs went back to their tent to watch a bit of Bake Off and we went back to the van for a film. ... in the little stream we were walking over and Meg the dog was not impressed with the sight of her treats floating down the side of the hill, trying to hoover them up before they disappeared. Eventually made it down to the bottom and over the smallest bridge in Cumbria, stopping again for more photo opportunities. Found a path down the side of the hill through some woods which bought us out by a youth hostel which sold tea and cake, so we just had to stop for lunch, ...
