Wanted to go on Soarin' next, but it had a huge wait and the fast pass was for 7.30pm, so decided we'd try it later. ... but it was underneath/combined with The Boardwalk so we missed it at first. But finally, we were headed in the right direction.
Fantasia Gardens, Here We Are! Two hours after setting out, we arrived at the Swan Resort which was where the mini golf course was located. (According to a map, we were just over a mile away!) We walked around the Swan/Dolphin resorts to see what they were about (finding the boat shuttle for Epcot and Hollywood Studios) ...
The weather forecast - partly cloudy and cool (ie 26 degrees C) off to Blizzard Beach, Disney's themed waterpark (ala uShaka Wet 'n Wild on steroids).
The theme is there has been a blizzard in Florida and lots of snow, so everything is depicted as cold and covered in snow. There is even a ski-lift to take you up to the top of the steep slides...

We had a comfortable two and a half hour drive from Bradenton Beach to Orlando and swapped the serene and peaceful atmosphere of Anna Maria Island for the loud and busy mayhem of the theme park capital of America. We stayed at very old and tired-looking Magic Castle Inn on Hwy 192. It was a hideous purple building which hadn't been updated in about 30 years it seemed.
