On a Friday it takes me over an hour to get to my school and every week I tell myself that I need to download something to watch or listen to on the way and of course every week I forget. This week I already had Up downloaded on my iPad, but one of the other "foreign teachers" I go with looks a little bit like Carl Freddrickson, which just makes my watching the animated film even more awkward than it would be for a 28 year old to be anyway. ...

So I finally leave koh phangan and end up getting the ferry with Stefan and his dad who I met at ling sabai. The sea has the occasional lurch over the boat but generally it is a comfy ride. It is quite rural so I am unsure if I'll get wifi but if I do I will update this as much as I ...

... the Buddha, the law and the priesthood.

Back on our bikes for the final section of our route; this took us through a residential area featuring large brick homes and a gated community. These were definitely homes of the wealthier Thai people. In contrast to the poorer sections of town that we passed by, there was ************e outside and no cute, friendly children to give high 5’s to. I guess the more money you have in Bangkok, the more you ...

Another morning where we didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a bus which was nice, this time the bus station was just up the road from us again but they were minibuses that run every 30 minutes to Bangkok and you just turned up and got on for a small fee. We spotted a little family run restaurant for breakfast, it was difficult finding restaurants and places to eat around her, there aren't many at all! We both had morning glory and shared a rice, we both had a ...
