Thurs - We were surprised at the size of Bangkok, full of skyscrapers, 4-5 lane highways, and neon lights. The evening concluded with a rather speedy tuk-tuk ride back to the hotel, even with a short interruption by the police at one point as the driver ran a red light! All got back safely though.

Over the course of our travels so far, we've become accustomed to the long-distance bus journeys it is necessary to take being complete Mickey Mouse operations.
