    ... our room was space age in décor, with large glittery golden boxing gloves on the bed. Not sure of the significance of that. Like the rest of the hotel the room was all psychedelic colors and mood lighting – very Vegas. There was a fancy doggy-pillow for Chandini to sleep on. We put her towel on it to give her bed her own scent.

    ... local time meaning 7.15am AEST, meaning we had been awake for 24 hours straight.

    After barely staying awake in the taxi on the way to our hotel we kindly asked the receptionist to order some Mcdonalds for delivery (they do that 24hrs a day here!)
    Gorging on maccas was not the ideal way to spend our first night in Bangkok but looking back on previous nights out with Jodi this one was tame.

    All in all it was a great first night of our trip.
