... a short ride on a tuktuk and a bus journey we arrived at our hotel where we slept and awaited Danielle's arrival.... Once Danielle arrived we obviously screamed the place down and giggled like school girls but once we calmed down we decided to head out to eat. After having an amazing meal of chicken and shrimp pad thai we also munched on scorpions and maggots! Us being us, typically starting ...

There was also heaps more options such as; eggs any way you like, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, chicken with ginger, fried rice, fresh exotic fruit, cereal, yoghurt, dried fruit, salad, soup, cheese and ham, all kinds of bread with butter, jam, honey, marmalade, nutella ,peanut butter and to round off cakes, croissant, pain au chocolate and danish pastries! ... to Lynyrd Skynrd...slightly bizarre but he's actually pretty good. Sat here, though, I'm glad that I'm moving on tomorrow. The whole boozy backpacker culture here is so not me so I'm hoping that all becomes a little cliched in the coming days. Yes, I am aware that I sound like an old lady (quiet in the cheap seats!) and I will prove just how old I am by staying up to literally 9pm tonight!! It was a long flight, alright?! Up next...Kanchanaburi and the Bridge over the River ...
