So I finally leave koh phangan and end up getting the ferry with Stefan and his dad who I met at ling sabai. The sea has the occasional lurch over the boat but generally it is a comfy ride. Suddenly they all reappear s******ing like chris Evans at the top gear news. Their ...

So we are finally here...the end of the Thailand trip...So sad to have left the beautiful islands but our eyes have been well and truly opened to the weird and wonderful sights of Bangkok! Such a different pace...tuk tuk's in every direction...smell of street food and hustle and bustle. We ventured out to the famous 'backpacker' Khao San road and weren't too impressed. I don't really know what we were expecting but ...

Trying not to look like a Tourist...and Failing

... 160; We took the train to where Claudio recommend and then expired our first tuk-tuk ride.  For those of you not familiar with what a tuk-tuk is, picture a scooter, with a bench on the back. These are very popular since the traffic can be bad, and these scooters can and did zigzag their way through the traffic.   My first thoughts on Bangkok were what a huge and very westernized city it is.  Massive sky ...
