... a couple films at the visitor center - one on the introduction of wolves into Yellowstone and the other on Grand Teton park. It was clearing up in the afternoon so we headed out for some partly cloudy views of the mountains and then a hike around Two Oceans Lake. We ended up not finding any, but I left the trail camera next to big piles of moose scat and huge moose prints along a deer trail next to the river. We set up camp in the sagebrush a few miles away. ... drink or ice just a staggered step on a slope. Anyway no break diagnosed but a nasty sprain so we are bandaged & slinged up. Our drive down (after the interstate) was through Big Sky & the Gorge via the Gallatin Park forest and was fairly spectacular (including more road work delays which involved meeting Rodney the traffic controller who greeted us Brits with many 'bloody hells').

Once we got to the hot spring (GraniteSprings) we walked up a dirt path above a running creek through some trees a reached a cabin and a fenced in pool. ... which we scaled along the side of a cliff with a steep dropoff on the other side. Mom was a bit nervous with Dawson walking along the ledge. We returned to the bottom and decided rather then hike the 2.5 miles back, we decided to take the 7 minute ferry ride back.
