No blog yesterday as not much happened. It was somewhat of a lay day for all the cruisers. Most everyone stayed aboard doing chores, reading relaxing, etc. we did, however, get together for a nice dinner at the White Elephant Hotel. A bit pricy, but good food and wonderful view. Leaving Jamestown we hoped to catch a flight or ferry to Nantucket on Friday., in the vain hope of missing the crowds. No such luck, the ferries and flights were all full. Instead we drove all of the way out to the end of the Cape to Provincetown or “Ptown” at the fist end of the arm shaped island. Cape Cod has been an island since the 1920’s era when the Cape Cod Canal was built across the isthmus connecting it to the mainland.
