We got trail underfoot by 6:50 am on the 27th, ready to perform like we had coming in to Warner Springs. Motivated by prospects of hot breakfast we ventured onward. Great time was made and by slack packing, or traveling with very little food and water, we averaged a solid 3 mph and got to Paradise cafe, mile 151 at 9:45 am. We then had to hike up Honey Canyon. I can honestly say I have never been so petrified in my entire life. At one point I was almost in tears simply from the fear of falling.
